Product Introduction
The system alerts the driver the distance of obstacles while reversing the vehicle. It includes 4 sensors, 1 controller and 1 display. The system generates both audible and visual warning.
How it Works
• When reversing, the 4 rear sensors that are installed on the back bumper send ultrasonic waves to detect obstacles behind vehicle. Then the controller receives the signal & transmits it to the speaker and to the LCD display.
• LCD screen will inform you the distance in feet to the obstacle
• LCD also informs driver the orientation of the object (which side of the bumper the object is on)
• Premium LCD display has large numbers and is 3” by 2”
• Speaker emits long intermittent beeps at 4-6 feet, and as you move closer to the obstacle the beep increases in frequency. When you are 1 foot away from the obstacle, the sound is continuous
• Speaker has 2 levels for Volume
• Power is supplied by tapping into reverse lights
