This wireless display and the waterproof controler provides a much simpler installation process than other backup systems. When the vehicle is on and in reverse, obstacles up to 8ft. of the rear of the vehicle will be detected.

Sound Alert Protection When Backing Up
When the vehicle is reversing, 4 rear bumper sensors send out ultrasonic waves 4 times per second that detect obstacles behind the vehicle up to 8 feet away. The waterproof controller receives the signal and transmits to the wireless LCD display.
The wireless LCD display and speaker sounds long intermittent beeps when an obstacle(s) is up to 8ft. from the rear of the vehicle and shows in feet the distance to impact as well as on which side of the vehicle the obstacle is located. As the rear of the vehicle moves closer to the obstacle(s), the beep increases in frequency. Once that distance is 1ft., the alert becomes a continuous sound.
