Blind spots are a deadly flaw for most SUVs |

How many kids can sit behind an SUV without
being seen by the driver in the rearview mirrors? This is not a trick
question. In fact, knowing the answer could save a child’s life.
According
to the consumer group Kids and Cars, as many as 62 children could be in
that blind zone and you’d never know it. And that’s a huge problem.
Your
driveway is the last place you’d expect a child to get hit by a car.
But Janette Fennell, president of Kids and Cars, says at least 100
children are killed there each year in backover accidents. Another
2,400 children are seriously injured this way each year.

RICHARDSON, Texas - It was Adrianna’s day to
go shopping at the mall, and her mom was looking forward to it. Mother
and daughter alone together.
Just
three weeks before, Rachel Clemens’ own mother had died after a long
illness and in the past week she’d organized her son Andrew’s seventh
birthday party. She and her husband, David, had taken Adrianna and
Andrew bowling with his friends and a couple of them had spent the
night.
The next
day, Oct. 9, 2004, a Saturday, would be Adrianna’s day, although for
this family it would forever be linked with tragedy.

How Our Systems Work!
When reversing, the 4 rear backup sensors that are installed on your back bumper send ultrasonic waves to detect obstacles behind vehicle. Then the controller receives the signal and transmits it to the speaker that is installed under your seat, or if the product comes with a display, then the signal is transmitted to the display unit.The parking senor emits a long intermittent beeps at 4-6 feet (depends on the model), and as you move closer to the obstacle, the beep increases in frequency. When you are 1 foot away, the sound is continuous. The power for our parking sensor is supplied by tapping into the reverse lights which means that the device is only on when your car is in reverse!! |
