WHAT OBJECTS CAN IT DETECT?
The Reverse backing system is a safety device that accurately detects all objects .... children, toys, pets, etc... that are behind your car/SUV/truck/RV while you back up, the beeping as well as LCD display inside the car warns the driver of the danger and prevents a potential accident.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
As your reverse and your system detects an object, the beeping inside the car increases in frequency, and the LCD/LED screen informs you how close you are to an object. Shift into drive and the sensors are deactivated.
WILL IT DRAIN MY BATTERY?
NO! The sensors are only activated when you put your car into reverse. When you are in drive or your car is off, the sensors are no longer connected to the battery and will not drain the battery.
